THE PLANET OF THE APES

The title of the movies is Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It is directed by Rupert Wyatt (director) It’s a Science Fiction (Genre). It takes placeSan Francisco (Setting) James Franco and Brian Cox is in it (Actor/Actress) It´s about Three chimpanzees are captured in an African jungle from their troop by poachers and shipped to San Francisco. Will Rodman is a scientist at pharmaceutical company Gen-Sys who has been trying to develop a cure for Alzheimer's disease by testing a genetically engineered gene therapy on 12 chimps. The drug mutates the chimpanzees, giving them a human level of intelligence (Plot). In the End A fight against the monkeys and the humans, because they (monkeys) destroy and kill a lot of people and  destroy  so many buildings (Climax).

PLATOON

The title of the movies is Platoon. It is directed by Oliver Stone (director) It’s a War Movie (Genre). It takes place Vietnam (Setting). Charlie Sheen and Johnny Depp is in it (Actor/Actress) It´s about The story to Chris Taylor  is a young American who has abandoned college for combat duty in Vietnam. Upon arrival, he sees dead soldiers in body bags being loaded into his plane. Taylor and several other replacements have been assigned to Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, "somewhere near the Cambodian border". Worn down by the exhausting heat and work and poor living conditions, his enthusiasm for the war wanes and he develops an admiration for the more experienced soldiers, despite their reluctance to extend their friendship. (Plot). In the End The platoon is later sent back to the ambush area in order to build and maintain heavy defensive positions against potential attacks. Taylor shares a foxhole with Francis. That night, a PAVN onslaught occurs (Stone based the attack on a real life battle he survived), and the defensive lines are broken. Several soldiers in the platoon, including Bunny, Junior, and Wolfe are killed, while O'Neill barely escapes death in his foxhole by hiding under the cover of a dead soldier. (Climax).

Mr. & Mrs Smith

The title of the movies is Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It is directed by Doug Liman (director) It’s a Action (Genre). I It takes place United States (Setting). Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Adam Brody is in it (Actor/Actress) It´s about A bored married couple that lives in a lies word in their marriage, their relationship started to go a bit stale after five or six years. Both wish for more excitement in their relationship, but as it happens and is surprised to learn that they are both assassins hired by competing agencies to kill each other. (Plot).In the End they discover that their companies wants to kill them, so they try to protect each other and finally they can fix their relationship. (Climax).

BATMAN

The title of the movies is Batman. It is directed by Tim Burton(director) it’s anAction (Genre). It takes place Gotham City(Setting). Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Kim Basinger Is in it (Actor/Actress)It´s about The Dark Knight of Gotham City begins his war on crime with his first major enemy being the clownishly homicidal Joker who plan’s to destroy Batman and gain control of Gotham City (Plot). In the End In Gotham City, a dark knight known as Batman helps to defeat evil and keep the city's citizens safe. When Jack Napier is transformed into the evil, Joker, he promises to take over Gotham City it is up to Batman to stop him in his tracks before it is too late.(Climax).

TOY STORY I

The title of the movies is Toy Story I. It is directed byJohn Lasseter (director) It’s a Animation movie (Genre).  It takes place United States (Setting). Tom Hanks,Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Jim Varney is in it (Actor/Actress) It´s about Woody, a pull-string cowboy doll, is the leader of a group of toys that belong to a boy named Andy Davis, but in his birthday party, Andy receives a space ranger Buzz Lightyear action figure, whose impressive features soon see him replacing Woody as Andy's favorite toy. Woody is disappointed and resentful at his replacement, while Buzz does not understand that he is a toy, believing himself to be a real space ranger. (Plot). In the End Buzz finally understand that he is a toy and Woody and Buzz could learn the team woek and most important, they learn to be friends (Climax).

Monsters Vs. Aliens Review

Monsters Vs. Aliens is a entertaining movie for kids but family can enjoy this animated film too. Even though the end is a little boring in general this a god movie. The voice of the main characters “Susan Murphy” –Reese Witherspoon- “Dr. Cockroach” –Hugh Laurie- “B.O.B” –Seth Rogen- “The Missing Link” –Will Arnett- and finally “Gallaxhar” -Rainn Wilson-

The story of this movie begins when Susan is about to get married. The wedding day while she is waiting to enter the church, a big meteorite hit her and infused her quantonium that is a powerful element that causes her to grow a enormous size. Everybody in the wedding is surprised and Susan is captured by members of the government and put into a secret government place. In this place Susan meets to other monsters that have also been capture by the government, they are: Dr. Cockroach who is a scientist with the head of a cockroach, B.O.B a gelatinous blob that is indestructible, the missing link and a big monster called Insectosaurus.

One day a big robot which has one big eye in the middle of its head invades the Earth and the president of the United Stated try to talk with the robot to negotiate, but this idea not worked. In his desperation to save the Earth the president made a deal with the director of the monsters to combat the alien robot and save the world from imminent destruction.

Now Susan has to learn to accept his new life far away from his family and her future husband, and learn that with her new life she may save the Earth to the alien invasion and help to many people. This is the opportunity for the Susan and the monsters to regain their freedom and they need work together to achieve.

Monsters vs. Aliens are a god movie that the whole family can enjoy whit a big jar of pop corn.

BLACKBERRYS IN CLASS

DO YOU THINK STUDENTS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO USED THEIR BB IN CLASS?

The Blackberrys is a cell phone with many useful tools. I think that the students should be allowed to use their BlackBerrys in class but with some limits. I think that talk by Blackeberry while the teacher is explaining something or just talking about something is a lack of respect whit him. However, I think that sometimes is necessary use the BlackBerrys, sometimes you use it for cheak the time, read an important message or just say something important to someone else.

For that reason I think that the use of BlackBerryS in class should be allowed for the students provided they be aware that they are in the class because they need to learn and they are who lose if don’t pay attention. I think that every student should know what their responsibilities are, and they don’t need a sergeant teacher that say all the time “Hey! plis put away the blackberrys or turn off the Blackberrys”. The problem is not for the teacher, the problem is for the student.

So, I think that every person, teacher or not, deserves respect and for that reason the students should put away the blackberrys while a person is talking and use it only for necessary things.
